Hakkinen retires from DTM
Mika Hakkinen, 38, has announced his retirement as a driver in the DTM series.
The former Formula One double world champion with McLaren had retired from F1 in 2001 but tested with his former team earlier this year.
He won three races in DTM and made his retirement announcement on Saturday at the Mercedes Stars and Cars event in Stuttgart.
