Captive Insurance Assistant
Tuesday, September 29, 2009The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the insurance contracts of a vast range of general business and employee benefit insurance contracts underwritten by the two insurance companies. Identify and develop new opportunities for insurers to participate
Duties will include:
- Liaising with clients, brokers, loss adjusters/claims administrators
- Ensuring that all relevant claims documentation is obtained and kept up to date
- Ensuring that accurate outstanding loss reserves, claim payments and other technical liabilities are posted and kept up to date
- Processing of claim payment requests
- Reviewing, reconciling and processing claims bordereaux and escrow funds
- Ensuring that all claims handling agreements are recorded and kept up to date
- Assisting the finance department with providing insurance expense budgets
