Our client is an established multinational with manufacturing operations in Malta exporting a niche product to European markets. They are currently seeking the services of a Financial Controller to join their senior management team and implement ambitious plans of organisational change.

Financial Controller

In this role you will review all financial control systems and processes to enhance the efficient and effective management of the Company's finances, to support the continuous improvements in the Plant’s operational efficiency and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. You will also provide strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the Company’s financial commitments are met and growth supported. In this role you will also be heavily involved in overseeing the HR and IT Functions.

You will be a qualified Accountant with a particular aptitude in cost accounting, management and business planning. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to work co-operatively crossfunctionally to contribute to and help champion plans for change and renewal. To integrate rapidly into our Client’s management team you need to demonstrate sharp business acumen, enthusiasm and well developed leadership skills.

Experience in designing and implementing IT financial systems is also important for this position. Some exposure to international accounting and FX would be an asset. In this role you will liaise with our client’s Head Office, in the UK. Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired but not essential.
