Personal Assistant
Friday, April 25, 2008Our client is an established organisation operating within the services industry. It is a diversified Group with a strong presence in EU markets and ambitious expansion plans. As a result of increased complexity within the Managing Director’s office they are currently seeking to recruit a mature and dedicated individual for the post of Personal Assistant.
The main function of this position will be to provide support to the MD. You will be responsible for organising the MD’s diary, arranging travel and accommodation as well as dealing with the MD’s internal/external calls and emails. This will also include minute-taking at Managers meetings, collation, preparation & distribution of weekly Management Information Updates and preparation and distribution of minutes. You will also be heavily involved in projects the MD is engaged in by executing preparatory work, briefing the MD ahead of meetings, and conducting all necessary follow-ups.
Personality is key, as we are looking for a hardworking, professional, and smartly presented person who can get on with people at all levels whilst gaining respect from colleagues and directors.
We require an individual with well honed IT skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential), excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to work on their own initiative.
