Meli Car Rentals extends its fleet

As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, Meli Car Rentals Ltd. is launching a number of newly-released Peugeot people-carriers to complement their extensive and widely diversified fleet.

“Thirty years of service to a very large number of organisations and private individuals from all over the country is an important milestone for us,” said Reno Meli, managing director.

“Being among the first transport companies to achieve certification under the new ADT Carriage of Passengers Operating Licence regulations, we felt it appropriate to celebrate this special event by investing further in state-of-the-art safety and comfort features for our customers while reducing our carbon footprint”.

The new Peugeot luxury people-carriers satisfy very stringent EU criteria for passenger safety and carbon emissions. The deployment of these high-end vehicles equipped with features such as central heating, dual air-conditioning, superior seating comfort and advanced emergency features is part of the strategy of the Meli Group of Companies to take passenger transportation in Malta to an entirely new level.
