How sad. How pathetic. Can you think of any other adjective to describe the silly excuses given by Inter FC to fire Mancini?

How can a club really justify the firing of a coach who managed to win two leagues (three if one considers the Calciopoli one)?

Linking it to comments after the team’s elimination from the Champions’ League back in March and some telephone interceptions that were leaked to the media lately is pathetic.

Let me set the record straight. Mancini is not my favourite kind of coach. Inter is definitely not my team. However the tactics used by Moratti and Tronchetti Provera are childish, amateurish and offensive. The leaks of the telephone calls could well be part of a plan for Moratti to get rid of those who he wanted to get rid of. This same puerile tactic was used to get rid of Juventus, Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio, Moggi and all those involved in the Calciopoli scandal.

Inter were the only team not to be involved in any phone tapping. I am not saying that what was discovered was regular…it was not. However I do hope that the Italian FA or whoever , would investigate this stupid way of doing things.

Appointing Mourinho instead of Mancini would be suicidal. Mourinho’s style is not adaptable to the Italian sensitivities and to the Italian media. But it seems that Inter’s administration is living to the reputation of their club… Pazza Inter… I am sorry for the genuine Inter fans for the low level of administration and management this team has.
