Party pets' fancy dress parade
Pets hit the world famous Copacabana beach in fancy dress as a carnival for pets and their owners takes place in Rio de Janeiro.
For the event, the pets, which were predominantly of the K9 variety, came in fancy dress, with many of the dogs dressed as angels, bats and racing drivers. The so called carnival for animals and their owners has been held in Rio for the past seven years in the run-up to the world famous Rio carnival, which kicks-off on February 22.
