An Italian man riding a motorcycle was grievously injured this evening when he was involved in a traffic accident in Żejtun. 

The man was riding a Majestic motorcycle along Triq Bir id-Deheb at around 6pm when he collided with a Toyota Vitz being driven by a 39-year-old Żejtun resident. 

An ambulance took the accident victim to hospital. Police are investigating further.
