ATTARD. On April 20, at St Catherine’s Home, Attard, ADELINA, née Stafrace, originally of Paola, widow of Joseph, aged 92, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Monica and her husband Costantino Consiglio, Mariella and her husband Lawrence Mizzi and Christopher and his wife Josette, her grandchildren Gabriella, Claudine, Stephanie, Rachel and Christiana, their spouses, her great-grandchildren Julia, Jake, Jaime, Jan, Amy, Benjamin and Beppe, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Catherine’s Home, Attard, tomorrow, Saturday, April 22, at 8am for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Foundation, Mater Dei Hospital, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. GRIMA. On April 19, JOSETTE, née Schembri, aged 53, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her beloved husband Raymond and her treasured children Jeanine, Jessica and her fiancé Julian Thompson, her sisters Miriam and her husband Mario Giuliano and Isabelle and her husband Joseph Church, her mother-in-law Ġuża, her sister-in-law Anna and husband Tony Tabone, nephews, nieces, their families, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow, Saturday, April 22, at 8.30am at St Venera parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. SCIRIHA. On April 19, at St Vincent de Paul residence, FILOMENA (Minnie) of Mosta, widow of Carmelo, aged 89, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Catherine and her husband Joe Galea, Joseph and his wife Mila, Mary and her husband Felix Camilleri, John and his wife Grace, Emanuel and his wife Elizabeth, Pauline and her partner Steve, Doris and her husband Robert Micallef, and Tarcisio and his wife Cleo, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brother and sisters, her husband’s sister, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul residence today, Friday, April 21, at 7.45am, for St Mary’s parish church, Mosta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to a charitable institution will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. TESTAFERRATA MORONI VIANI. On April 20, the Baron SALVINO, Gr. Uff. Ord. di Sant’Agata, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, aged 86. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Monika, his sons Christopher and his wife Daniela and Martin and his wife Stephanie, his grandchildren Petra, Stephen, Nicholas, Martina and Sophia, his in-laws Jane Testaferrata Moroni Viani, Manfred and Monika Ammermann, Ute and Rainer Knoche, together with Caroline, Peter Paul, Paul Stephen, Richard and Sebastian and their respective spouses, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, April 22, at 9.15am for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am, followed by private interment. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Navy Memorial service

The Royal Naval Association memorial service will be held at Pieta Gardens, at 11am, on May 6.

Uniform and medals may be worn on the occasion.
