Louis Zome has been ruled for the rest of the season after the Gżira striker was slapped with a three-match ban yesterday

Zome was punished by the Disciplinary Commissioner after he was dismissed for hitting Clayton Failla during the 2-0 defeat to Hibs.

Balzan midfielder Ryan Fenech received a two-match suspension while defender Bruno was handed a one-match ban.

Fenech was red-carded against St Andrews for dissent while Bruno was sent off for a foul on Kyrian Nwoko.

Fenech will skip matches against Tarxien (Saturday) and Ħamrun (April 29) while Bruno is out of the Rainbows game.

The other players sanctioned yesterday were, Raphael (Ħamrun),  Ryan Camenzuli (Floriana), Iraklis Roppas (Pembroke), Peter Xuereb (Sliema), Michael Johnson (St Andrews) and Alex Nilsson (Tarxien).
