Cortefiel has unveiled its spring/summer collection, and nature is the source of inspiration. From large national parks to deserts, the brand introduces garments with different types of prints and pastel colours combined with greys and sand tones.

For the men, there’s an urban style, with linen and cotton as predominant fabrics. For women the collection adapts to different styles, such as sailor or folk, to offer a large range for this season.

Cortefiel divides its men’s collection in casual and business. Its main source of inspiration are natural parks of England. The first stop is the Dartmoor National Park collection. Its blue, celestial and green colours merge with strawberry to define silhouettes for day to day looks.

The Lake District is the second inspiration for this collection. Green, blue, white and touches of mustard are used. The most classic garments are renewed: the polo and plaid shirt with special details and washes.

The business collection is inspired in Florida. The reflection of the architecture and its landscapes has served an influence. The pastel tones and turquoises complete the colour range.

The Biscayne Bay Collection colour palette is based on a new range of blues, from greyish to navy, with a contrast between pink and light tones for shirts.

Palm Beach is the most colourful collection, with vivid oranges and blues combined with whites, celestialblue and beiges.

Designs in the Coral Gables collection present a sporty and relaxed image, with lightweight fabric linen blazers.

The women’s collection is elegant with garments full of details and feminine touches like lace edging, jewels and lace. Neutral colours are mixd with cherry and floral prints.

In The New Black, neutral merges with red to add colour. The bicolour jacquards and embroidered details fill the collection with a folk character.

Furthermore, into summer the Riviera collection features a sailor style that combines the stripe prints to give an eclectic and sophisticated look.

In Tropical Dessert one finds a burst of colour with touches of papaya and safari-style designs, with lighter garments like linen and lyocell.

The Marine collection in its casual version combines stripes with cashmere in primary colours such as navy or green. Coral and embroidery give the collection a touch of romanticism.

Cortefiel may be found on level 2 at Bay Street.
