Fondazzjoni Wens held the official opening of its in-house gym at its rehabilitation centre in Hal Far. The new gym features equipment in excellent condition donated by Cynergi Health and Fitness Club. Fondazzjoni Wens’s aim is to enhance the quality of life of people with disability through innovative personalised support, expertise and advocacy, maximising their ability to fully participate in community life. It currently houses 84 residents.

Eden Leisure Group’s marketing director Kate de Cesare, who was present at the official launch, said: “Cynergi Health and Fitness Club has recently undergone a massive refurbishment and although our previous equipment was still in excellent condition, we decided to donate it all to those in need. We donated over 200 pieces of equipment to various organisations.  Dar il-Wens Foundation offer an invaluable service and we are glad that our equipment has been put to great use here.”
