I am a regular TV follower of the debates in our House of Representatives. Invariably, government speakers always chastise the Opposition for their “failures” of when they were in government. I don’t see anything wrong with that, except that it is a bit unfair to compare the past (non-EU) with the present.
Anyway, my point is that our government speakers seem reluctant to speak about the magnificent achievements and legislations made by the Labour Party during Alfred Sant’s reign. It is not fair on this past Labour leader; especially when the “failures” of the Nationalists are a monotonous repetition every time a new Bill is presented in Parliament.
Sant should feel offended for not getting a mere mention.
