To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Rome agreement in March 1957 that saw the creation of what is now known as the European Union, the Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco, California organised an exhibition and a gathering of the EU Consulates in the San Francisco Bay area.

The exhibition consisted of a series of panels depicting the history of the signing of the Rome agreement, the evolution of the European market through the years and the challenges ahead.

The current Malta presidency was also recognised and highlighted.
