Trane, a leading provider of cooling, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems recently hosted an educational seminar for local engineers and maintenance personnel. The seminar, entitled ‘State of the art HVAC Technologies and Refrigeration’, was organised in collaboration with Trane’s local agents, Satariano Ltd, and was held at the Westin Dragonara Resort.

While introducing the Trane team, Ray Satariano, director of Satariano Ltd, said Satariano was proud to be associated with Trane.

Mr Satariano added that Trane’s integrated HVAC-R systems and services enhance business performance, improve quality of life for building occupants and enable owners and operators to meet their business and operational objectives.

Addressing the delegates, Trane’s engineering leader, HVAC EMEA, Guido Desantis, said: “Backed by over 100 years of experience, Trane understands that the operating costs of one’s HVAC-R infrastructure alone can account for almost four times the cost of one’s capital investment. For this reason Trane offers expertise that enables customers to manage and optimise its HVAC-R system lifecycle and reduce the total cost of ownership.

“At the planning and concept stages, Trane offers technical expertise and know-how for different building types and help ensure that initial specifications get off to the right start. At the design stage, Trane engineers work with each and every customer to define and select the best equipment and control solutions that meet one’s specific needs,” he added.

The seminar was also addressed by Valerio Micali, equipment and systems area sales manager, Centre and South Italy; Giancarlo Balena, solutions and specifications senior developer and quotations team coordinator; Marco Cerasi, Leed GA, service and sales engineer.
