President Donald Trump, who made a fortune in real estate before running for political office, has decided to donate his first quarter salary of $78,333 to the National Park Service, the White House announced.

"The president is personally proud to contribute the first quarter of his salary to the important mission of the Park Service," White House spokesman Sean Spicer told a news briefing.

"It is every penny the president received ... from January 20th noon forward."
