Floriana will have to do without four first-team players for tomorrow’s Premier League match against Ħamrun Spartans following decisions by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner.

The Greens were yesterday counting the costs of Sunday’s feisty derby against Valletta, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Goalkeeper Justin Haber, who was sent off after he was spotted passing remarks towards the Valletta supporters following Ryan Camenzuli’s equaliser, was slapped with a two-match ban.

Assistant coach Salvatore Caleca, who protested vehemently with the referee following Haber’s dismissal, was also handed a two-match touchline ban.

Defender Enrico Pepe and midfield duo Nicolas Chiesa and Camenzuli were each handed a one-match ban after picking their fourth booking against the Citizens.

Balzan will be without Ivan Janjusevic for tomorrow’s clash against Gżira United as the goalkeeper was handed a one-match ban following his sending off by referee Alan Mario Sant after the final whistle of the 3-1 defeat to Hibernians.

Four other players were suspended – Gżira United duo Souleymane Diamoutene and Andrew Cohen, Birkirkara’s Nikola Vukanac and Bong Won Che, of St Andrew’s.
