CARUANA. Suddenly at his residence, The Gardens, St Julian’s, TONIO, aged 60, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Desirée, his children Alessia and Mirco, aunt Josephine, cousins George and Ivan, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated today, Monday, April 3, at 2pm at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. The family would appreciate donations offered in his memory to ALS Foundation Malta. CASAPINTA. On April 1, TONIO, aged 68, husband of Tanya née Said, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family and comforted by the rites of  Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his treasured sons, Kurt and his fiancée Tiziana, Damian and his wife Alexia, his adored grandsons Benji and Luigi, his brother Lino and his wife Frances, his sister Marisa and her husband Anton Camilleri, his brother Joseph and his wife Maria, his brother-in-law David and his wife Daphne and Keith, his aunts Sr Giuseppina, Sr Rose of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, Balzan, and Carmelina, nephews and nieces, Maria, Chris, Michela, Luca, baby Azara, Michel and Sean, other relatives and friends. Also his colleagues at the Malta Chamber of Commerce, the Maltese Libyan Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trade Malta and his fellow members at SMOM. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4, at 9am and Mass praesente cadavere will follow at the church of Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Salesians of Don Bosco and Hospice Movement will be appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest. Special thanks to the surgeon, doctors and dedicated staff at ENT ward at Mater Dei Hospital and SAMOC. The family regrets that they are unable to receive visitors.

CREMONA. GRACE passed peacefully away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Mater Dei hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her brother Chief Justice Emeritus Professor J.J. Cremona, her sisters-in-law Judge Ena Cremona, widow of the late Dr Antoine Cremona, and Miriam, widow of the late Professor René A. Cremona, nephews and nieces Anne and Andrew Abrahams, Antony, Mary and John Samut-Tagliaferro, Simone, Tonio, Vanni and Michelle, Andrew and Fiona, Michael and Jill, John and Yolanda, Anthony and Dianne, her great nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège will leave Mater Dei hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4, at 1.15pm for Mass praesente cadavere at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, at 2pm. May she rest in peace.

FARRUGIA. On March 31, at Mater Dei Hospital, DOLORES, widow of Dr Jimmy Farrugia, aged 86, of Tarxien, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters, Agnes widow of John Bonello, Frankie Tanti and his wife Elsie, Miriam widow of Charles Galea, Monica widow of Charles Magro, their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Monday, April 3, at 2.15pm for the Tarxien Annunciation of Our Lady parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment at the family grave at the Tarxien Cemetery. MICALLEF. On March 31, MAJOR ALDO H. MICALLEF (E.D.), aged 93, widower of Emma Maria Micallef, née Sapiano, passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family and comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church.  He leaves to mourn his sad loss his treasured children, Mark Anthony, Rachelle and Martin Manduca, his adored grandchildren, Emma, James and Stephanie, John and Michaela, his sister Rosa Micallef Judge, his brothers Edwin, Louis and his wife Gloria, his in-laws Mariuccia Micallef and Edward Spiteri, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated today at 9am at the Attard parish church followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Lord grant him eternal rest.

SAID. On April 2, at Mater Dei hospital , ANTHONY of St Julians, went to meet the Risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Wendy and his loving mother Josephine, his brother Joey , his sisters Doreen and Margaret and their respective spouses, in-laws Eileen, Geoff and Jean, nephews , nieces, other relatives  and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei hospital tomorrow Tuesday April 4 at 8.30am for St Julians parish church where Mass will be held at 9am followed by interment  in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of neuromedical and neurosurgical  wards and also the surgical team and staff of ITU for their care of Anthony.

TEDESCO. On April 1, RICARDO, aged 95, of Msida, passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his treasured children Monica and her husband John, Carmen and her husband Martin, Maria Pia and her husband Arthur, Josephine and her husband Marco, his adored grandchildren John, Alan, Nadia, Lara, Graziella, Mirko, Owen, Shania and Janine, his in-laws, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, April 5, at 2pm for Msida parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Lord grant him eternal rest.
