A Luqa man was grievously injured this morning in a road accident on Mdina Road in Qormi.

The 24-year-old was riding a Kymco motorcycle when he was involved in a crash with a 20-year-old Qormi man behind the wheel of a Peugeot 306. 

Police were alerted at around 11.20am and paramedics took the victim to Mater Dei hospital for treatment. 

Investigations are ongoing, police said.
