Members of the press, staff from Camilleri Group and guests were invited to the launch party of Matalan, a leading British retail chain founded in 1985 by John Hargreaves, at one of its outlets at The Strand, Sliema. Matalan Malta will provide everything under one roof, from affordable fashion for the family to stylish homeware. The first two stores to open in Malta are in Sliema and Żabbar Road, Fgura. Tiffany Pisani, the brand’s local ambassador and former winner of Britain’s Next Top Model, arrived in style in an open-air Matalan-branded bus. During the night guests, who were able to purchase items from the brand’s current collection, were given goody bags which included Matalan gifts and vouchers. Cheryl Balzan was busking at the event on her guitar.
