St Martin’s College Sixth Form recently inaugurated a new extension. The new building comprises nine classrooms and a 300-square-metre common room for students that includes a lounge area, a working space, a kitchenette, a games room and gymnasium. College director Bernie Mizzi said that with the college’s rapidly growing student population, the new extension will allow the sixth form to maintain its policy of having only 12 to 15 students in each class. The college believes having small class sizes is an important determinant of student outcomes.
