Over 350 Remax Malta employees discussed various survival strategies during their annual convention entitled ‘I will survive’.
Employees followed three speeches in the morning and participated in an analysis of the property market in the afternoon. The convention came to an end with the achievement awards ceremony for employees and offices forming part of the Remax Malta family.
Remax coach and trainer Paul Vincenti spoke about the choices successful people make when on the brink of failure. Ivan Bartolo, who set up 6PM and is now managing director of Idox Malta, then addressed the crowd.
The morning session came to an end with an address by guest speaker Michael Tolan, executive director of the Institute for Innovation and Leadership.
Company executives and managers then gave an overview of the results registered in all sectors of the business during 2016. Company directors Jeff and Kevin Buttigieg said 2016 was the best year for Remax Malta.
The convention came to an end with the achievement awards ceremony. This year saw the introduction of the Remax Brand Ambassador Award, won by the Remax lettings team. Twelve awards were presented throughout the evening, including seven sales associate awards, three letting associate awards, one for most transactions on auction property and an overall excellence award for all supporting staff.
The Top Selling Associate for Service Fees Generated was won by Etienne Vassallo, while the top Sales Associate for Konvenji Signed was clinched by Philip Incorvaja, who also won the Top Own Listings Sold award.
The award for Top Exclusives Sold went to Miriam Camilleri. Top Producing Office for Service Fees Per Capita Per Day was won by real estate specialist TPT, while Top Producing Office for Service Fees Generated went to Remax Alliance, which also won Top Selling Office, Sales Volume. Other awards included Top letting Associate, Service Fees Generated for Residential and Commercial Combined, which was won by Trevor Gauci Maestre.
The Top Letting Associate, Service Fees Generated for Residential Only went to Cherton Caruana, who also won the Top Letting Associate, Number of Transactions for Residential and Commercial Combined.
The Most Transactions on Auction Property was won by Justin Camilleri from Remax St Paul’s Bay and the final award, The Excellence Award, was won by Maree Camilleri, assistant to the regional lettings manager.
