Two suspected burglars were arrested this evening in Santa Venera after residents on Triq il-Ferrovija called police after hearing unusual sounds on their roof. 

Police said they were called to the area at around 7.15pm, with officers spotting two men running out of a private residence.

The two men, aged 36 and 57, were apprehended and arrested. They remain in police custody.
