A group of 50 young martial artists, aged between eight and 15, recently participated in the Chojinkai Open Karate Championships in Penrith, Cumbria, England. The group included members from the La Salle and Żebbuġ clubs. They took part in Kata (forms) and Kumite (sparring) and landed a tally of 31 medals in all – 13 gold, nine silver and nine bronze. Sensei Joe Tanti and Sensei Josef Antonelli headed the group during their stay in England.
