• The Victoria Scout Group is organising a Fun Walk in aid of Puttinu Cares today. The 2.5km walk will start at 10am from St Augustine Square in Victoria and proceed along Għajn Qatet Street, Mġarr Road, Republic Street and come to an end at Independence Square. Minimum donations: children €3, adults: €5. • The Oasi Foundation will hold the second annual general meeting at the Oasi Centre today at 10am. Members are invited to attend.

• A Bible study meeting will be held tomorrow at 7.30pm at St Anthony church, Għajnsielem. All are welcome.

• The feast of the Annunciation will be celebrated at the chapel in Lunzjata Valley, Victoria, on Saturday. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a solemn con-celebration at 5.30pm. There will also be Masses at 6am, 7.30, 8.30, 9.30 and 10.30, 11.30, 3pm, 4.30, 5.30 and 7pm.

• The Oasi Group of Volunteers will be organising a Bake Sale of figolli and other Easter treats at the Duke Shopping Mall between March 31 and April 2, from 9am to 7pm. Any donation of baked goods and confectionery, whether home-made or store-bought, is greatly appreciated. It is important that all items are non-alcoholic. • The Professionals and Graduates Movement of the Gozo Diocese is inviting members (including couples and anyone who for one reason or other cannot attend elsewhere) for this year’s Lenten exercises. The spiritual talks will be held at St Augustine church in Victoria from tomorrow up to Friday at 8pm. The preacher is Fr Joe Zammit.

• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly (Gozo) will be organising a charity sale at the Victoria football ground (next to the car park) next Sunday from 7.30am to 1pm. Admission fee is €10 per space, which will be paid on the day. • Gozo Live is calling on all students in Gozo to take part in a creative writing competition. Students of all ages are being asked to write a story, poem or essay on the theme of travel/transport in the most creative and original way. Book vouchers will be awarded to winners.
