A group of 21 students who recently participated in the Malta Junior Science Olympiad have been given the opportunity of working during the summer with researchers at the University of Malta’s Faculty of Science conducting studies in areas such as biology, chemistry, electromagnetics, astronomy, mathematics, geosciences and statistics. They will work on various sampling techniques, operational observations, data management and analysis, investigations and scientific research projects.

The arrangement forms part of the Go4Research student internship programme recently launched by the faculty in collaboration with the Department of Curriculum Management.
