Unlike Albert Cilia Vincenti, I am not convinced that an enucleated ovum can be termed a third parent as it cannot transmit its genes to the offspring.

However, it is refreshing to note that parenthood is recognised at fertilisation. That is why I find it distressing that a man of Cilia Vincenti’s calibre persists in ignoring the abortifacient potential of drugs that disrupt the endometrium.

He should know that such a mode of action results in the death of the embryo. His resorting to name calling is no substitute for logic and reason.
