Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan last week showed the world his bullying tactics by his ‘Nazi’ and other remarks towards the Netherlands and Germany a week earlier. It shows how low and irresponsible he can get.

The Dutch government had every right to prevent the Turkish ministers from holding their rally for Turkish expats, so as not to stoke tensions in the run-up to the general election.

Germany and the Netherlands deserve an apology from Erdogan, as his remarks were highly unacceptable to his Nato allies.
