FA Cup SFs: The schedule for the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley has been confirmed, with Chelsea to play Tottenham on April 22 and the tie between Arsenal and Manchester City taking place the following day. Chelsea’s match against Spurs kicks off at 6:15pm (Malta time) and the game between the Gunners and City, starts at 4pm. The FA confirmed ticket allocations will remain the same as from 2016, with each of the four clubs given approximately 32,000 seats for their own fans.

Wague: Leicester City’s January signing Molla Wague is out for the season with a dislocated shoulder. The defender made just one appearance – in the FA Cup defeat at Millwall in January – and has had an operation but his long-term future is unknown, with the loan from Udinese expiring in the summer.

Martins Indi: Stoke City are “very close” to agreeing a deal with Porto to sign on-loan defender Bruno Martins Indi permanently, manager Mark Hughes has confirmed. The 25-year-old has made 27 appearances in all competitions for the Potters so far this season. Martins Indi revealed this week that talks were taking place regarding a permanent move to the bet365 Stadium.

Pedro: Chelsea forward Pedro received a recall to the Spain squad yesterday for the World Cup qualifier against Israel and the international friendly against France after nearly nine months out of the national team. Pedro was a key member of the Spain team that won the World Cup in 2010 and Euro 2012 but had yet to be called up by new coach Julen Lopetegui.

Noble out: West Ham captain Mark Noble will miss the Premier League clash at home against champions Leicester City today with injury, manager Slaven Bilic has said. Noble was playing through the pain of a leg injury he suffered against Chelsea earlier this month.

Zambrano: Octavio Zambrano was named head coach of Canada’s men’s national team yesterday, with the Ecuadorian handed the task of ending decades of failure. Zambrano takes over from Benito Floro, who was not offered a new deal following Canada’s elimination during the qualifying stages for the 2018 World Cup.
