A baby has helped reunite a married couple with a wedding ring they had given up as lost.

Andy Freeman, 33, and his 28-year-old wife Steph had searched their Norwich home from top to bottom when Mr Freeman's wedding band went missing last year, but it was nowhere to be found.

They sold their old sofa on a Facebook selling group to 24-year-old Cloey Jordan, of Wortwell near Harleston, Norfolk, in December 2016.

Months later, Ms Jordan said her seven-month-old son Kaleb flung his dummy across the room and when she went to retrieve it, she found Mr Freeman's wedding ring down the side of the sofa.

She had lost the contact details for Mr and Mrs Freeman, but soon found them after posting an appeal on Facebook. They have now been reunited with their wedding ring.

Mrs Freeman said: "It was unbelievable. I cried."

You get married and think you will have the ring forever. I just assumed that had gone
