The following are the top stories in national newspapers today.

Times of Malta says that Air Malta’s financial viability has taken another downturn after the airline lost a €500,000-a-year contract with DHL to provide it with ground handling services. In another story, it says that barely a year after the party financing law came into force, the Electoral Commission is to launch an investigation into allegations that various provisions of the legislation have already been breached.

L-Orizzont says that PN candidate Ryan Mercieca presented a document with an altered date in court probably in a bid to win a libel case against it-Torċa.

The Malta Independent says that according to the Prime Minister, big business donations to the Labour Party will soon be in the public’s domain.

In-Nazzjon says that the Prime Minister has defended his €11,000 holiday in Dubai.
