More footage has emerged of the Duke of Cambridge dancing during his controversial “lads-only” skiing holiday in Verbier.

In the short video, obtained by The Sun, Prince William − dressed in a pale blue shirt − places his hand on the waist of a dark-haired partygoer before leaning in towards her.

In another grainy clip he is wearing a fedora and dancing next to a blonde woman in a Swiss club.

A third section of the video appears to show the second in line to the throne standing next to a friend and raising an arm in the air as he dances.

Prince William faced criticism earlier in the week for reportedly being in the Swiss resort on Monday while the Queen was leading the Commonwealth Day celebrations with senior royal figures at an annual service in London.

Footage on the American gossip website TMZ appeared to show the 34-year-old duke partying. Wearing a blue shirt with the sleeves turned up at the forearm, he jigged from side to side and executed a dance move commonly known as “raising the roof’’.

Since the start of the year, Prince William has carried out royal duties on 13 days, according to listings in the Court Circular, while his brother spent his 18th working day touring Epping Forest.

Prince William is to begin full-time royal duties this summer when he finishes his job with the East Anglian Air Ambulance, which is likely to prompt scrutiny of how much he increases his royal duties and public appearances.

Today, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are heading to Paris for a high-profile official two-day trip.
