Back by popular demand, the Malta Baby & Kids Directory will be holding another Parent and Child event, aiming to make life easier by bringing together like-minded parents from all walks of life.

Every season, the directory’s team collaborates with paediatric professionals to give people the chance to make new friends while learning an interesting new skill, accompanied by their children.

This year, Parent and Child events kick off with a ‘Thriving kids posture workshop’, hosted by American chiropractor Cristin Fitzpatrick, a posture expert and child development specialist.

Knowing that spinal issues are rife with parents living on the Maltese Islands, Dr Fitzpatrick is reaching out to the local community in order to prevent the next generation from suffering the same fate.

For a nominal fee of €10 per parent and child couple, those attending with their children will participate in a fun, interactive presentation that will show how to perform an ‘At home posture screening’ check on one’s child. The 45-minute workshop will be followed by question time and light refreshments provided by Sanya Spa.

All those participating in the workshop will also benefit from: the opportunity to book their child’s free paediatric posture screening, valued at €85, during the event; free underground parking at Hilltop Gardens, a few metres from the Sanya Spa entrance; a complimentary copy of the latest Malta Baby & Kids Directory 2016/2017; an educational, interactive workshop on the importance of setting children up with a perfect posture for life; and the chance to network with like-minded parents.
