An interdisciplinary production competition is being held by the Maltese presidency of the Council of the European Union in collaboration with the Malta International Arts Festival.
Productions submitted, including theatre, dance, music and new media, must link one or more of the themes of the presidency – migration, the maritime sector, security, the Single Market, European neighbourhood and social inclusion.

The winning production will get a prize of €10,000 inclusive of VAT, and will be presented during the Malta International Arts Festival 2017.
Applicants should submit a brief description (one page A4) of the names and biographies of leading artists involved in the production and a production budget by not later than Wednesday. Late sub-missions will not be considered.
An independent jury will select the production by March 23.
Applications are to be placed in an envelope marked ‘MIAF + title’ in the application box at the Arts Council Malta, 16 Casa Scaglia, Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street, Valletta.
