Over two and a half months ago (December 15), I wrote in this newspaper about the lights in Pantar Road where it meets Valletta Road, Mosta, being out of action.

To date, even though apparently there is no reason for them to remain inoperative, because no work has been going on in that area for months, they are still not in use.

This is rendering the crossing of Pantar Road and Valletta Road (both traffic-busy) extremely dangerous. Who is responsible for this and for any accident that is waiting to happen?

Which authority, department or ministry should be held accountable should an accident happen?

An explanation by who is responsible is awaited and, above all, immediate action is demanded.
