There was an unexpected distraction for Prof. Robert Kelly when he was being interviewed live on BBC News about South Korea.

The serious interview descended into farce when his daughter, wearing a bright yellow top and white-rimmed spectacles, enters stage right. Prof. Kelly remained deadpan and continues commenting.

The presenter notifies him a child has strolled into the background, and without pausing his commentary the expert pushes his child backwards.

Following the young girl was a small toddler, who rolled in behind her in a baby stroller - and is followed by a woman in hot pursuit who is seen struggling to take the children out of camera shot.

The clip caused 'hysterics' among viewers with many describing it on social media as the funniest clip of the year.
