Two women have been hospitalised following a two-car collision this afternoon. Their condition is not yet known.

The accident happened in Garibaldi Street, Marsa at around 1.30pm.

A car that was being driven by a woman from Attard stopped at the zebra crossing to allow a person to cross the street. The other woman was a passenger in the car. A car that was being driven by a man from Valletta collided with the first car.

First assistance was given by members of the Administrative Law Enforcement and the Luqa police.
