The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers today.

Times of Malta leads with the latest developments in the spat between the Nationalist Party and the db group.

The main focus of The Malta Independent's front page is a picture of what could be Malta's biggest chicken egg. In a secondary story is says the Labour Party confirmed none of its employees are paid by third parties.

In-Nazzjon gives prominence to a Net TV interview with Simon Busuttil where he said he is determined to clean up politics and will not be silenced by donors. 

l-orizzont leads with Labour's slogan Busuttil Falz, a reference to the disclosure by the db group on its donations to the PN. It also reports a call by the GWU for maternity leave to be extended to men, a possibility already mentioned by the prime minister on Sunday.
