She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Lawrence, her children Paul and his wife Stephanie, John and his wife Geraldine, Rita and her husband Robert, Maria and her husband Godwin, Anna and her husband Terrence and Josette and her husband Mauro, her grandchildren Rachel, Christine, Alexander, Reuben, Matthew, Jonathan, David and Thomas, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. SALIBA. On March 1, MICHAEL of Lija, former draughtsman and Lija Local Council member, aged 76. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife MaryAnn, his children John and his wife Jacqueline and Anna and her husband Mark, his grandchildren Gordon, Massimo and Maris, his brothers and sister, Charlie and his wife Mary, Victor, Tony and his wife Mary, Mary, widow of Joe Grima, in-laws, amongst whom Carmen Calleja, other relatives, friends and members of the St Pius X Band Club, Lija. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, March 4 at 8am for Our Saviour parish church, Lija, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by a cortège accompanied by the St Pius X Band to Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SPITERI. On March 1, at his residence, under tragic circumstances, BRIAN (Iċ-Ċumpaqq), of Mellieħa, aged 57, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his daughter Donna; his partner Josian, her daughter Dayna and Jesmond, her son Jake, her granddaughter Leah, her mother Imelda and her father Alfred, her brother Viktor and his wife Ruth, her niece Cheryl and her husband Lawrence and their daughter Elisa; his aunts Tanya and her husband Spiro and Rita and her husband Tony, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, March 4 at 12.30pm for the Nativity of Our Lady (Marija Bambina) parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

VELLA. On March 2, GRACE, aged 57, of Siġġiewi and residing in Mġarr, widow of Peter passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her son Daniel and her daughter Maria, her family, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, March 4, at 3pm for St Mary’s church in Attard, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at Mġarr cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest. The family wish to thank the doctors and nurses of Surgical Ward 4 and all staff at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre.

Requiem Mass

Tomorrow, Saturday, Mass for the eternal joy of MANOEL and ANNA MIZZI will be celebrated at 6.30pm at the Ursuline Sisters’ church, Sliema. Lord, grant them the fullness of the risen Life in Christ.
