The murder in Swieqi, as well as comments made at a seminar by the Malta Chamber of Commerce yesterday, dominated most of the front pages of today's newspapers.

Times of Malta reported that the 51-year-old businessman was found in a pool of blood after he was tied up and killed. It also reported that Chamber of Commerce President Anton Borg yesterday issued a stern warning to Prime Minister Joseph Muscat over transparency and good governance.

The Malta Independent also gives prominence to the two same stories from yesterday.

In-Nazzjon described the murder as "macabre", and also reported that the Prime Minister had been "warned" by the Chamber of Commerce.

L-oriżżont reported that the victim had been wrapped up in a bedsheet and bound by duct tape. It also reports that Nationalist MP Toni Bezzina will be investigated over a property application.
