ATTARD. On February 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, VICTOR, aged 71, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Grace, his children David, Ruth and her partner Paul, Maria Jezabel, Yvette and her husband Keith and Aaron and his wife Janice, his grandchildren Miah, Jayden and Hailey, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Monday, February 27, at 2.15pm for St Cajetan’s parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the ALS Foundation will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

BORG BELLANTI – NOELLE. On February 26, at Mater Dei Hospital. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband George, her sons John and his partner Anne, Philip and Peter; her grandsons Luc and Ian; her sisters Nella and Marilu, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Thursday, March 2 at 8.45am at St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. A prayer is solicited.

BORG OLIVIER – NIKOLAI. On February 24, after a long illness, very bravely borne. A beloved son and brother, he leaves to mourn his loss his parents Kathleen and Alexander, his sister Karina, Alex, Amelia and Eloise, uncles, aunts, cousins and many, many friends. Infinite gratitude to Emanuel Farrugia. Sincere thanks to the consultants and doctors, Paul C., Pauline and staff at the Renal Unit, Mark Pullicino, Marius and all the staff at M3 for their constant dedication. The funeral will be held at Stella Maris church, in Sliema, today, Monday, February 27 at 2pm. ­No flowers by request but donations to Life Cycle can be made at the funeral.

BUSUTTIL. On February 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, GAETANO of Rabat, residing at Mosta, aged 85, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Jane, his sisters Maria and Kitty, his sister-in-law Margaret Vella, numerous nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Dominic’s church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GALEA. On February 27, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, GIOVANNA, née Farrugia, widow of Joseph, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her daughters Josephine, Mary, and Monica, wife of Robert Cassar; and her sons Louis and his wife Vincienne, Charles and his wife Grace residing in Australia, Michael and his wife Grace, Victor and his wife Doris, Benny and his wife Rita, Joe and his wife Julia; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister Angelika, wife of Joseph Buhagiar, and her brother Publius Farrugia and his wife Carmela; her brothers-in-law Nicholas Galea and his wife Victoria, and Renè Galea and his wife Marlene; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Wednesday, March 1 at 3.30pm at Mqabba parish church, followed by interment in the family grave at Mqabba cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. Gratitude and special thanks to the consutant and doctors, nurses and all staff at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre (Ward 8) for their constant care and dedication.

GAUCI SCIORTINO. On February 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, DORIETTE, née Sciortino, aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church, surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves to mourn her great loss her beloved husband Edwin, her daughters Geraldine and her husband Gianrico Farrugia and Gabriella and her husband Peter Gatt, her grandchildren Luca, Jeremy, Stefan and Antonia, her sister Rita and her husband Anthony Galea, her sister-in-law Marthese Sciortino, her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank her doctor, the consultants and their respective teams, together with all the dedicated staff at Surgical Ward 4 for their incredible support and attention.

GREGORY. On February 11, in Orpington, Kent, England, JAMES ALFRED, known as Jim, aged 75 passed away peacefully. Greatly missed by his wife Maureen, daughters Lisa and Elaine, sons-in-law Tony and Samuel, grandson Matthew, his sister Evelyn and other relatives and friends. The funeral takes place at Hither Green, London, tomorrow at 1.45pm. A Mass for the repose of his soul will also be said tomorrow at 6pm at the Ursuline Crèche, Sliema. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box 63, Birkirkara BKR1000, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

PILLOW. In loving memory of a dearest uncle and great-uncle, WILFRED (Wee Wee), today being the second anniversary of his demise. Fondly remembered by his niece Pat and her husband Walter, his nephew Nicky and his wife Caroline, their respective children Erika, Denise and their families, Laura and Christine.
