May Malta’s politicians heed the advice Pope Francis gave to students at the Roma Tre University and seek patience to dialogue. After all, politicians are voted to parliament to carry out their duty to the best of their ability and be an example to others.
The longer a case takes to reach a settlement, the more time and energy is wasted in which other more important issues can be tackled. Floating voters do not give their vote to whoever does not run the country honestly but neither to those who hinder progress when the country is running smoothly.
So, from a simple family quarrel to something more serious in Parliament, dialogue is the answer to a swift and peaceful solution.
