Building materials supplier Philip A. Tabone has launched a range of products, including concrete repair solutions, flooring systems, waterproofing products, insulation systems, scaffolding, shuttering and expansion joints, during an open weekend held at its newly refurbished premises in Unit No. 2, Qormi Road, Luqa.

The event was attended by a number of designers, architects and contractors, who had the opportunity to meet experts from renowned foreign suppliers. These included Andrea Di Matteo and Giorgio Foschino from Italian paints company DiDonato, who gave presentations on home décor and the correct use of colours in buildings and a demonstration using applicators for textured paints. DiDonato also presented Philip A. Tabone with an award for best increase in foreign sales for 2016.

Other speakers included Diego Aisa from Kimia, who spoke about limestone mortar, anchoring systems, fibre-reinforced products, hydraulic lime, anchorages and adhesive technologies, and Paolo Morlino from Italian scaffolding and shuttering company Pilosio, who spoke about aluminium and lightweight advanced shuttering, as well as ring lock scaffolding systems and jacks.
