The Labour Party said this morning that Opposition leader Simon Busuttil had not presented any evidence when pressed on TV yesterday to back is claims on the Panama papers.

Referring to the interview given on Dissett, the PL said that despite his insinuations, Dr Busuttil had presented no evidence on who, he believed, owned the Panama company Egrant.

The PL also observed that Dr Busuttil had said he would sack the police commissioner, without notice.

This, the party said, made Dr Busuttil a dangerous politician who would sack those who disagreed with him. This was a throwback to red and blue politics.

It said Dr Busuttil had nothing to offer other than 'lies' while covering up for Beppe Fenech Adami, Toni Bezzina and Jason Azzopardi.
