My wife and I, together with our two children, Ben and Sarah, had visited Malta in 1991. While in Gozo for a day, our children had a beautiful ‘conversation’ with a local boy on the steps of his parents’ shop. I think it was in St George’s Square, Victoria. I captured the moment in a photograph (above). It was a beautiful moment between young children who did not understand each other’s language but, nonetheless, enjoyed a ‘giggle’. I promised the family I would return with a copy of the photograph. Sadly, my wife and I did not return until this week.

We have been unable to locate the family and wondered if Times of Malta could help us fulfil the promise by carrying the photograph.
