ATTARD. On January 20, at her residence, MARIA STELLA, née Borg, of St Julians, widow of Gerald, aged 92, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Antonella Bruno and her partner Jean and her son John and his wife Claudia, her grandchildren Gabriella and her husband Andrew, Luca, Alexander, Natasha and Basti, her great-granddaughter Lea, and other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, tomorrow, Monday, January 23 at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
DEGUARA. On January 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, KARMENA, née Sant, aged 88, of Mosta, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Never forgotten by her children Joe and his wife Josephine, Frans and his wife Mary, Raymond and his wife Lydia, Mary, widow of Ian Coates, Lourdes and her husband Charlie, Peter and his wife Rita, and Yvonne, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brother, her in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, January 23 at 7.30am for Mosta parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family vault at Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
VELLA. On January 20, at Karin Grech Hospital, SEBASTIAN, of Qormi, aged 77, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rita, his children Antonella and her husband Elton and Johann and his wife Analise, his grandchildren Mattias, Lisa Yvet and Luke Sebastian, his brothers and sisters, his in-laws, their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, January 23 at 2pm for St Sebastian’s parish church, Qormi, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors at home.
