■ Gods of Egypt (12A) will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm. The BFG (PG) will be screened on Boxing Day at 5.30pm.
■ Piccole Stelle concert, in aid of Ethiopian children, will be held at St George’s Square, Victoria, today at 8pm. In case of bad weather it will be held at St George’s Basilica.
■ A Christmas concert, under the direction of Mro Antoine Theuma, will be held at Nadur Basilica, today at 7pm.
■ A blood donation session will be held at the Gozo General Hospital Outpatients Department on Tuesday from 1pm to 5pm.
■ A musical play, Il-Milied Misjub mill-Ġdid, with a cast of over 50 actors, written and directed by Mark Azzopardi, will be staged at the MBC Theatre, Nadur, on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
■ The live nativity play, Presepju Suq u Mexxi, will take place in Xagħra from tomorrow to Wednesday from 5 to 10pm. Drivers are advised that access to the event will be from Għajn Qasab Road, Nadur.
■ The Visitation Band of Għarb will hold its end-of-year concert, Dreams of Vienna, at Kempinski Hotel, San Lawrenz, on Wednesday at 8pm. The concert will be directed by Mro Jason Camilleri.
■ The Santa Ċeċilja Foundation will be holding a Christmas concert, under the direction of Mro Antoine Mercieca, at St James church, Independence Square, Victoria, on Friday at 7.30pm.
■ Xagħra council will be organising the annual Christmas concert at the parish church on Wednesday at 7pm. The Animae Gospel Choir will take part.
■ Victoria council will present its New Year’s Eve concert in Victoria from 10pm onwards. Special guest will be Desi Campbell.
■ MUSEUM superior Joe Fenech is holding a prayer and catechesis meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Thursday from 10am to 11am. All are welcome.
■ Fr Marcello Ghirlando will celebrate a Mass and a healing service at St Anthony church, Għajnsielem, on Friday at 7pm. There will be adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 6pm to 7pm. All are welcome.
