CUSCHIERI. On December 5, LOUIS A. of Kappara, widower of Winnie, née Naudi, aged 84, passed away peacefully at home, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved daughters Vikki and her husband Bobby Micallef, Maria and her husband Ian DeGabriele, his adored grandchildren Petra and her partner Romain, Sandrina, Steven, Alan and his partner Sylvie, his great-grandsons Luca and Matteo, his brothers Maurice and Alfred and his wife Monica, his sisters Imelda Borg Bartolo and Ethel Rose Buttigieg, his in-laws Marthese Cuschieri, Anton Naudi and his wife Marlene, and Jane Naudi, his personal carer Arnold, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow, Wednesday, December 7, at 2pm at Our Lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. It was Louis’s wish to have his body donated for medical research but due to circumstances beyond everyone’s control this was not possible. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, and Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FARRUGIA Imelda (Milda), aged 82, widow of Lino (“Tal-Vinċ”) passed away on Sunday, December 4,  comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Charlie, Antoinette and Marco, their respective spouses Marthese, Michael and Ruth, her grandchildren Jean Carl, Bernard and their spouses Greta and Katya, Peter and Eliot and her great grandchildren Jan, Mattia and Matteo, her brothers and sister and the children of her deceased sisters, her in laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Tuesday, December 6, at 1.30pm for St Joseph the Worker parish church,   Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will  be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement will be appreciated. Special thanks to all the staff at the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Hospital for their sterling work. Lord grant her eternal rest.

REFALO. On December 5, at his residence in Victoria, Gozo, VINCENT, aged 89, passed away peacefully. He will be sorely missed by his wife Rose Marie, his children Mariliana and her husband Sammy, Michael and his wife Nadette, Joseph and his wife Rita, Anna, Fr Franz, Ivan and his wife Michelle, Paul and his wife Christine and Moira and her husband Paul, together with his 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his only surviving sister Rose, widow of Dr Antoine Mercieca and his only surviving brother-in-law Franco Masini and his wife Manola, other relatives and friends. The funeral will take place today, Tuesday, December 6, leaving his residence at 4pm, with Mass præsente cadavere at the Cathedral Church, Victoria, Gozo, followed by interment at Santa Maria Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations for charity and the Missions would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
