BORG. On December 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA DOLORES, of Għargħur, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Bartholomew, her children Carmen and husband Effie, Jesmond, Roberta and husband Tyrone and Alison, her grand­children Yasmine, Brayden, Amanda and Tiziana, her brothers and sisters and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Tuesday, December 6, at 2.30pm for St Bartholomew’s parish church, Għargħur , where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at the Għargħur cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

FARRUGIA. On December 4, IMELDA (Milda), aged 82, widow of Lino (Tal-Vinċ) passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Charlie, Antoinette and Marco, their respective spouses Marthese, Michael and Ruth, her grand­children Jean Carl, Bernard and their spouses Greta and Katya, Peter and Eliot and her great-grandchildren Jan, Mattia and Matteo, her brothers and sister and the children of her predeceased sisters, her in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, December 6, at 1.30pm for St Joseph the Worker parish church, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2 pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.  No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta will be appreciated. Special thanks to all the staff at the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre for their sterling work. Lord, grand her eternal rest.

MALLIA. On December 3, MARY ANNE (ex-headmistress), from Paola, aged 83, went to meet the Risen Lord. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers  Josie and his wife Lilian, Godfrey and his wife Maria, Frida widow of her late brother Charles, her sister Mildred and her husband Joe DeBono, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The cortege leaves Saint Vincent de Paul Residence today, Monday, December 5, at 2pm, for the Augustinians’ Priory, Tarxien, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

PACE BARDON. On December 2,  at Mater Dei Hospital,  MARY née Mamo,  widow of Robert,  aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her daughter Maphine and her husband Vito Stella, her daughter-in-law Louise née  Muscat widow of her son Anthony,  her son Capt. Ian Pace Bardon and his wife Anna née  Ferris. She also leaves to mourn her grandchildren Vladimiro and his partner Enza, Natasha and her husband Paolo, Alison and her husband Brian, Dr Michael and his wife Jessica, Roberta and her partner Mike, Christina and her partner George, her great-granchildren Maria Chiara, Matias, Gaia, Matteo, Maia, Gabriele and Julia Maria, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today, Monday, December 5 at St Augustine parish church, Valletta, at 8.30am. She will be cremated according to her wishes. Donations to Puttinu Cares would be appreciated. Special thanks to the hospital staff, and to Lorenza Sacco her friend, carer and helper.

REFALO. On December 5, at his residence in Victoria, Gozo, VINCENT, aged 89, passed away peacefully. He will be sorely missed by his wife Rose Marie, his children Mariliana and her husband Sammy, Michael and his wife Nadette, Joseph and his wife Rita, Anna, Fr Franz, Ivan and his wife Michelle, Paul and his wife Christine and Moira and her husband Paul, together with his 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his only surviving sister Rose, widow of Dr Antoine Mercieca and his only surviving brother-in-law Franco Masini and his wife Manola, other relatives and friends. The funeral will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, December 6, leaving his residence at 4pm, with Mass præsente cadavere at the Cathedral Church, Victoria, Gozo, followed by interment at Santa Maria Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations for charity and the Missions would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

ZAMMIT. On December 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, aged 88, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his wife Angiolina, his children Josephine, Iris and her husband Joseph, Terry and her husband James, Patrick and his wife Simone, Wallace and his wife Michelle, his beloved grand­children Keith, Maria, Lara, Lucia, Anna, Rebecca, Kurt, Diane and Amy; his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. A funeral celebration will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, December 6, leaving Mater Dei Hospital for St Catherine’s parish church, Żurrieq where Mass will be said at 7.45am, followed by interment at San Leone Cemetery, Żurrieq. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
