Obituaries
BONELLO. On December 1, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, NICK (Nicholas), of Balzan, residing in Birkirkara, aged 90, widow of Desdemona, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. Sorely missed by his children Carmen, Anthony, Monica and Norman and their spouses, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Maria, wife of his late brother Joseph, nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends. A funeral celebration will take place on Wednesday, December 7, leaving St Vincent de Paul Residence at 2.30pm, with Mass praesente cadavere at Annunciation parish church, Balzan, at 3pm, followed by interment at Balzan Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Thanking the Lord for His presence in our lives, may He grant him joy in His presence.
DRAGO. On December 2, at St Catherine’s Home, MARION née Galea, aged 80, passed away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. A loving mother and grandmother, she leaves to mourn her great loss her husband John, her children Sandro and his wife Josanne, Mark and his wife Rita, Silvana and her husband Walter, her grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Andrew, Ruth, Luca and Franco, her brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Monday, December 5, for Attard parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her sad loss her daughter Maphine and her husband Vito Stella, her daughter-in-law Louise nee Muscat widow of her son Anthony, her son Capt. Ian Pace Bardon and his wife Anna nee Ferris. She leaves to mourn also her grandchildren Vladimiro and his partner Enza, Natasha and her husband Paolo, Alison and her husband Brian, Dr. Michael and his wife Jessica, Roberta and her partner Mike, Christina and her partner George, her greatgranchildren Maria Chiara, Matias, Gaia, Matteo, Maia, Gabriele and Julia Maria other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the hospital staff, and to Lorenza Sacco her friend, carer and helper. Mass praesente cadavere will be said on Monday December 5 at St. Augustine Parish Church Valletta at 0830am. TABONE FERRANTE. On December 2, AGATHA née Janaco, widow of Victor, aged 89, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss, her daughters, Mary and her fiancé Colin, Dorothy and her husband Harry Erskine, her sons Robert and his wife Anna, Edward and his wife Frances, Joseph and his wife Deborah, her daughters-in-law Alexandra and Shirley widow of her late son Richard, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Milena Janaco, her dearest friend Connie Vassallo, her sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends, her carer Alodie and her fiancé Jimmy. Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow Monday, December 5, at 8.30am at the Mater Boni Consilii Church, Paceville, followed by internment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
